About the therapist
Providing Compassionate Counseling in Columbus, Ohio
Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and you found it helpful for a time, but old habits came creeping back, or you found yourself frustrated with the process. For some individuals, you may even be told that they’re “self-aware” and “insightful” during their counseling sessions, yet you find yourself stuck, doing research and identifying problems but failing to feel measurable improvement.
Perhaps you have traits that are helpful in the day-to-day—you’re an empath, emotionally intelligent, or a perfectionist—yet you’ve still struggled with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or burnout. Your schedule is busy, and it can be hard to find evening therapy or online counseling from a local provider in Columbus, Ohio.
At Adaptive Growth Counseling, we know that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, our therapy is customized to your unique journey, helping you heal and grow toward a brighter future.
Meet Morgan
My name is Morgan Weininger, and I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (Supervisory Designation I.2103001). I was educated at The Ohio State University, receiving my bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2015 and my master’s degree in Social Work in 2017, after which I practiced social work in community, outpatient, and hospital settings.
I provide specialized therapy to adults who want therapy to be more of a conversation, and less of a step-by-step, one size fits all approach. I best help clients who are familiar with anxiety, depression, or ADHD symptoms but feel there’s still something missing, and life shouldn’t be this hard.
I use various therapeutic theories and modalities to shape my practice, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Motivational Interviewing
Solution-Focused Therapy
Trauma-Informed Care
Somatic Experiencing Techniques
Strengths-Based Approaches
Send me a message, and let’s see if we’re a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!
